What are the specifics?

  1. Dimensions? Standard unit - Message area - 21” high x 15 ½” wide / overall - 28” high x 22” wide / 6” deep. Compact unit – Message area – 14” high x 15 ½ “ wide / overall – 21” high x 22” wide / 6” deep.
  2. Readible distance? With 1 ½" letters - greater than 40'.
  3. Rear door or tail gate access? No effect. For vans, CopyRider mounts easily to passive door. For pick-ups, CopyRider mounts on tail gate above drop point. For box trucks, CopyRider pivots sideways for full access.
  4. Removeability / reattachment? Easy and simple.
  5. Need a trailer hitch? No.
  6. Need a trailer wiring harness? Yes. – 4 wire flat plug or adaptor.
  7. Does it run all the time? No. It scrolls only at 7 mph or less otherwise it moves one ad frame per minute.
  8. Internal lighting? Yes. Long life “Soft-Glo” LED backlighting.
  9. Scrolls? High quality coated paper with moisture and ultra-violet resistant inks. Minimum of 6 / maximum of 10 messages (ad frames).

Where is it made?

The CopyRider Scrolling Sign and all parts and components are "Made in the USA." Fleet Impressions, LLC is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. All printing is currently done in Minneapolis.

We recommend that you check with your local distributor(s), wholesaler(s) or manufacturer(s) for co-op approval. Many manufacturers have approved CopyRider in their co-op programs.

How much must be invested to become CopyRider clients?

In round numbers - about $100 per van per month. Factor in co-op money available from manufacturers and this may be about $50 per van per month.

In addition to enhancing your advertising return on investment, CopyRider may be used to create a separate profit center.

What are my options for purchasing or leasing?

Financing and leasing plans are available. We accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express. We require a down payment authorization which does not get processed until you authorize approval of your first scroll set.

I have graphics on the back of my van. They seem to work fine. Why would I want a special sign like yours?

Graphics / lettering work fine to identify you.  Good graphics draw attention for a short period but quickly become part of the “traffic-scape” and become invisible.  The key to CopyRider is movement.   As CopyRider begins to scroll, the movement draws AND BUILDS attention.  “It moved once, it will move again.” Even if seen only in peripheral vision, that “trigger” creates reaction.  It's our genetic “fight or flight” response.  When something changes, we are compelled to look.    CopyRider complements good graphics with multiple messages.
